We finished our Train the Trainer FETAC Level 6 in Kilbeggan last Friday. It was a huge success and well done to all those who put in a lot of hard work and actively participated in the process.

We learned many many things about training, including how our Trainees all have different ways of absorbing information and learning (thanks to both Silvio and Andrews presentations on David Kolb and Stephen Brookfield)and different intelligences (thanks to Frank's presentation on Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences). We learned that Trainees have a mix of learning styles (thanks to Mark's presentation on Honey and Mumford) of which we need to be aware in the training room. In addition we affirmed the many motivating factors which influence adults to enter and stay in the training room (thanks to Rhona's presentation on Maslow and Claire's presentation on Herzberg).
In this action packed and much enjoyed course we experienced many talks and even a mini training session where we were treated to learning experiences in robotics, fire safety, marketing, customer care, web design and even how to paint a picture.
All our Trainees left the course with a "Trainer toolkit" under their arm and we got some very useful feedback for future programmes !
We have many exciting plans for 2012 and will stay in touch with you over the coming weeks to give you some sneak previews of how we might help you next year.
In the meantime, if you would like to discuss our service further or any of the courses advertised on our website, please call 057 93 33442 or email info@acetraining.ie
